Approve, as proposed, the School Board Member salary schedule for December 1, 2006 to November 30, 2007
Issue/Rationale
In accordance with Section 1003.395, Florida Statutes, each local school board is required to adopt the salary of its members at the first regular meeting following the November organizational meeting. The proposed salary to be adopted must be noticed at the time of the meeting notice. The salary adopted by the school board shall be in effect during the succeeding 12 months. The salary schedule will be in effect for all school board members until the adoption of the new salary schedule.
Recommended Action
Approve the recommended salary of $33,037 for school board members, effective December 1, 2006 through November 30, 2007.
